Please give a little to help the family's financial expense - as nothing but time can help them to overcome their loss of Kim.

Kim, a German citizien was involved in a serious motorbike crash on the Coromandel on Thursday, 14th Dec 17.
The police were responding to the crash involving a van and a motorbike near the intersection of SH25 and Hikauai Settlement Road. The crash occurred at about 5.30pm. The van pulled out and didn't see the bike coming.
Kim has been in New Zealand on a working holiday visa and helped bilingual primary school children to learn German (including my 9year old daughter).
Over the last few days she had taken some time to explore the Coromandel with a friend and also went as a passenger on a trip with a motorbike, which turned out fatal for her.
She was thrown of the bike and hit the ground hard, head first and received severe head injuries that basically sent her straight into a coma.
Her family in Germany have been able to see her via skype conferencing to say their good bye.
As her brain function had stopped, her injuries were irreversible and Kim is a registered organ donor her parents agreed with the New Zealand doctors to grant Kim's last wish and turned off her life support today. As an organ donor Kim's spirit will live on in the many she will help.
Kim's father is flying out from Germany to arrive in New Zealand this Sunday.
Losing a loved one is especially hard before Christmas and being so far away makes matters more complicated and prolonged.
The family's wish is to bring Kim home and lay her to rest in her home town.
I am hoping that with "give a little" the family's financial expense can be helped - as nothing but time can help them to overcome their loss of Kim.
I do want to help as dealing with the loss of your child especially at this time of year must be so overwhelming and I would like the family to know that we, as New Zealanders (by birth or choice) do care about all people who do come to this pretty country and that they are not alone.
The money raised will be used for travelling costs and transferring Kim's body from New Zealand to Germany and any costs involved in her medical care after her fatal bike crash.
Any money raised exceeding these costs will be donated to the Westpac chopper.
