Willy and his family would like to sincerely thank each and every one of you for donating to them through this journey of uncertainty.

They are eternally grateful for all the love and support from everyone.

Willy has been doing really well with his chemotherapy treatments. Willy had some MRI and CT scans after his 3rd Round of Chemo and there has been some shrinkage of his tumors and his pain has eased. His quality of life has had a huge turnaround and he has been able to live more normally during his rest week each round of chemotherapy treatment.

He has learnt to manage the side effects from treatment alot better, the tingly feet and hands can be the worst. Keeping warm by the fire has been a good spot for him on the cooler days. The road is still very up and down for Willy and his family but they are making the most of this time they have with Willy and making lots of memories.

Willy has just started his 6th round of Chemotherapy treatment. Willy is due to have a "chemo holiday" of around two months soon. Willy will be due for some CT and MRI scans and test to see how his cancer has been tracking over the last few months since his last scans.

After Willys Chemotherapy holiday he will decide with his oncologist what the next treatment plan is for him.

Again thank you all for your support and kindness to Willy and his family, they feel very lucky to have so many people thinking about them and being there for them at this difficult time.

    Thank you xx

Willy is currently on day 5 of his second round of chemotherapy.

He had no side effects last time, but this round has been completely different for him.

From pins and needle feelings in his toes and fingers to his throat and tongue swelling when he drinks.

This journey is so up and down but Willy is still fighting hard against this cancer with all his might.

Thank you again everyone for all your support, Willy and his family are forever grateful for all the kindness, love and positive vibes everyone is giving them.

Willy has has some more heart breaking news yesterday.

The biopsy results from Willy's spine came back and it wasnt good news.

Willys cancer is a rare kind called Mutant BRAF and it is very aggressive, only 10 percent of people get this type of cancer.

This has made Willy's prognosis alot worse, and essentially his bone marrow in his spine is very rapidly being overtaken by cancer. His body isn't able to produce alot of platelets and this means his blood is not clotting. Also his red blood levels are very low aswell.

Chemotherapy puts a big strain on Willys production of platelets and as they are already low this is a major risk. He can have infusions to try bring these levels up but they dont stay up for long.

    Willy was given two choices.

He can not have the chemotherapy and he will possibly live for 2 or 3 weeks until his blood levels drop completely.

The second choice is to go ahead with the chemo and risk any complications that come with this (possibly an earlier death), or he cound be one of the 3% that it is successful and he may get 2 months more.

Willy has chosen to go ahead with chemo as this is the best chance he has to spend more time with his precious family.

Willy's main priority now is to spend time with his family and marry his soulmate in the next week ❤❤❤
