We are the first to offer and provide Emergency & Transitional Housing and Targeted help for young people at risk in Western Bay of Plenty.
Bay of Plenty
We aim to help people from all walks of life - in need. The ultimate goal is to eliminate violence and poverty. Our highest priority is to ease the effects of homelessness and to care and protect our most vulnerable. Of particular concern are our young people 8 - 25 years, those at high risk of poor outcomes, unsafe or unsanitary living situations, our displaced or marginalized community members and those who are at a greater risk of under-achieving or failing to thrive.
We will be working together to help find long term, sustainable, targeted individualized plans. To help move individuals and or families forward to be a stronger and more economically sustainable household. To be accepted, respected and strengthened to move forward in life to grow and achieve the sustainable lifestyle you and your family desire.
I am involved as a founder of the Matariki Stars Community Charity Trust and was previously campaigning to provide extra lunchboxes to hungry children in schools and was on Seven Sharp June 2016 https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/while-its-good-idea-wont-fix-problem-readers-laud-hero-te-puke-mum-making-lunches-hungry-school-kids
... a year later the problems are much worse - so we need to dig deeper NZ
