Help Karl & Tracy (On The Quay Fish n Chips) rebuild their lives

Imagine in one night you lose everything you worked hard to create. Last night my dear friends Karl & Tracy Henderson lost not only their beloved dog Stella, but also their home and business (On The Quay Fish and Chips Napier) in a fire.

Its only two weeks until Christmas and I cant even imagine how it feels to lose a close one, but to be burdened with the loss of your income and your home, with children to feed and no insurance to cover the basics.. I felt I had to do something!!?

I'm too far away to have a good old whip around so I'm reaching out to everyone that knows these two genuine, honest, hard working and just lovely people through a difficult time in their lives and hopefully rebuild anything of what they might have left.

Both Karl and Tracy are very humble and proud people and would never ask for a hand out or even help of any sort as they would just pitch in and do it themselves, so I'm asking for them. Please donate what you can, EVERYTHING raised will go directly to them and their family to help with day to day life and might even help rebuild a broken dream?

Karl and Tracy rent the building from the owner who has building insurance, unfortunately Karl and Tracy have neither loss of income, business continuation or any insurance to help them rebuild their business. Tracy gave up her teaching job at Pukehamoamoa School to be full time at the fish and chip shop so as you can imagine things are pretty tight at the moment.

The funds raised here will go directly to Karl and Tracy to help rebuild the business if at all possible? but also help them get through the next few months without immediate source of income over Christmas.

On a personal note I would like to add, these friends of mine are not frivolous people and I know they will cherish and appreciate every dollar donated. What I am doing here is something they wouldn't dream of doing for themselves and they are already blown away by the well wishers and the generosity of everyone that has contributed..
