Thank you for visting this page to support Steve McGavock. It has been set up by friends of Steve in response to requests by friends, colleagues and associates as to how they can be most useful.
Steve has advanced metastatic bowel cancer. He also has the added complication of a B-RAF mutation which prevents him from responding to the (publicly funded) chemotherapy treatments available.
Steve is having targeted chemotherapy which is privately paid for by Steve, and exorbitantly expensive. At this stage he is responding positively to this treatment, and we hope that he will continue to do so for the foreeable future.
If you wish to help towards Steve's treatment this is the place to proceed. We so appreciate your love and support.
