Help Vikki fight Melanoma Cancer
Auckland
This page was created to support my sister Vikki after it was discovered a previously removed melanoma had spread cancer to her liver. After being diagnosed in February this year Keytruda was the only viable treatment option for Vikki but it came at a hefty cost of $11,000 every 3 weeks.
I'd like to express my most sincere gratitude to all of you that donated we raised over $40,000 in just a few months. We are and will always be so incredibly grateful to you all.
A special thank you goes out to the wider melanoma community of New Zealand that worked so hard to see a treatment for melanoma publicly funded - now we have two.
Vikki's treatment has had to stop for the time being as her liver had become inflamed while on Keytruda.
After several emails from people still wanting to help Vikki out it was decided to keep this page open. Any additional funds raised will assist Vikki while she is unable to work.
Thank you to everyone for your love and support.
Tracey xx
Vikki is my younger sister, she has melanoma. Our cousin Cindy and I have started this givealittle page to raise funds to help pay for her treatment.

Vikki spent a few days in Auckland Public last week - you could say Keytruda was working 'too well' and she now needs to take a break from infusions. And true to Vikki's nature, if you can't get to work - get work to come to you. Here's Vikki 'not talking shop' with her colleagues during their lunch break. #GoVikki
Dear Grace, Vikki would like to thank you very much for the donation from you and your family. She is focusing on her health and has vitamin C infusions each week. Your kind message has made her feel very cared for. Thank you, from Vikki and thank you from me - her big sister, Tracey xxx
