Auckland

Built around 1877, the Engineer's Cottage is a heritage listed building and is the only cottage in the village to have been built on the MOTAT site. It was the second building on this site, following the Pumphouse.

It is vital MOTAT continues to maintain this cottage so future generation will be able to visit and enjoy it as a piece of Auckland's history. MOTAT will ensure the cottage will be accurately conserved and restored so that visitors will have an authentic experience when they visit.
