An opportunity for Hirini to develop his leadership, Basketball & interpersonal skills and celebrate a great year of work and achievement!
Waikato
It has been a whirlwind of a year for Hirini with his school, sport & other responsibilities. He's had to juggle his NCEA level 2 studies, Regional Waikato Basketball representation, part-time work, a small business and family/community commitments. Despite all of this he managed to meet his commitments and did well enough to be elected Manukura Taane (Head Boy) for Ngaa Taiaatea Wharekura 2018!
Hirini was recently invited to attend the World Youth Basketball Tournament 2017 later this month and after a year of hard work we think it will be a great way for him to develop his Basketball skills, interpersonal skills and leadership skills.
We would like to invite family and friends to offer any financial support they can to help Hirini take advantage of this great opportunity.
We will post up all of the details to let you know exactly what he'll be up to.
Thank you for your support!
I'm Hirini's taxi-driver, life coach, chef, cleaner, support crew & one of his #1 fans!!! In other words - his MUM lolol
Funds will go towards the cost of this trip (airfares, accom, food, transport, tournament). Any excess funds will go towards other leadership and sports development opportunities Hirini has planned for 2018.
