Our church is in dire need of restoration! If we do not take action, sadly we may have to close due to safety and stability issues!
Northland
Our church is 144 years old and has held many memorable events such as weddings, funerals, baptisms and weekly church services.
Sadly, time and the elements have taken their toll on our taonga - St Clements. Our church is seriously in need of repair support from all who care about her.
A structural engineers report has been conducted and the total cost to repair the church is close to 350k. We have approached various historical grants that will contribute to the project but our church has to come up with the deposit 150k.
On behalf of the Restoration Committee for St Clements church. We are keen to contact all whanau who have an affiliation to St Clements. I include in this appeal all denominations who have loved ones buried in the two urupa that surround the church.
If you are in a position to help then please donate and a tax receipt will be provided.
