Running 200+KMs to raise funds for 'Goshen Mental Health Services Samoa.
International
Every year our social running group 'The Samoa Hash Harriers' attempts to raise awareness and funds for an under-serviced yet well deserving cause within our small Island community.
We do this by taking part in the 'Samoa Perimeter Relay', a 200km+ race that spans the total circumference of the main island Upolu.
This year, as has been the case with previous years, we have chosen to once again support the 'Goshen Mental Health Services Samoa', a non-profit organisation whose sole mission is to "provide support and care for people and families suffering with mental health challenges".
Last year we proudly raised ST$21,000 with the help of family and friends from near and far and hope to once again be able to do the same in an effort to keep this valuable service operational and people in need cared for through difficult times.
We thank you in advance for your support and look forward to make a positive impact together.
A volunteer looking to raise funds for a non-profit that relies solely on the financial support of individual and private donations.
We understand that times are tough for all so appreciate any donations no matter the amount, as this will inevitably go towards to provision of food, medical supplies, shelter and care for some of the most vulnerable members of our community.
