Raising Funds for a Cat Rescue Centre

Stray New Zealand is dedicated to rescuing all stray and abandoned cats and kittens in New Zealand. We wish to end their suffering, and find them a good home with responsible owners.

Currently, we are raising the funds to build Cat Rescue Centre. We have the aim of No More Stray Cats in New Zealand.

To bring this about we are partnering with the University of Auckland Architecture Department, teams of Stage III students, to design a world class iconic Cat Rescue Centre.

This project has now concluded, and been a great success. Fifteen stunning designs were submitted by the students, in both urban and rural settings. Four have been selected for the next stage. Our grateful thanks to the supervisors, Martin Axe and Peter Townsend, our veterinary advisor Dr. Jess Beer, and our special appreciation to the students who worked so hard on this challenging project to produce such excellent results.
