Please show your respects to Anne and her family, by supporting a cause that was dear to her. This is a fitting way to say good-bye to Anne.
Auckland
I grew up with Anne in Queenstown. She was such a kind and gentle spirit, qualities which saw her working in Cambodia for the charity Hope for Cambodian Children. When COVID-19 struck the region, Anne decided to stay so she could continue to suppport and help the many families that she loved so much.
Unfortunately, Anne died of a sudden and unexpected cardiac arrest. I, as many of her friends and family felt cheated that we were unable to say good-bye to her properly. Anne's life has been celebrated in Cambodia by the people that loved her.
One way to honour and celebrate the Anne that we love, is to show our support to her work, to the Hope for Cambodian Children foundation.
The foundation runs a number of programs for under-privelleged children including mother and baby HIV programs, community based programs and educational programs for primary through to senior students.
I grew up with Annie, we have been best mates since primary school. Upon her passing, I know her greatest wish would be to remember her by helping the children that she loved so much at the foundation.
100% of the funds will go to the Hope for Cambodian Children foundation which looks after under-privelleged children.
Thank you all for your support in memory of Anne 10 July 2020
Over $2300 in dontations have been made from all over NZ, Australia and Cambodia. I know Anne would be embarrassed by all of this but she would also be so proud. Please share Anne's page so we can continue to support the foundation and all the amazing work that has been done to date.
