Help raise funds to repair our stringed instruments so that Sistema Whangarei can continue to transform our young people through music.

Sistema Whangarei is a vibrant, innovative community music organisation with the following aims:
Our aim is to impact the lives of under-served children in our community through orchestral music training.
Our goals are to strengthen the spirit, and foster making positive choices, creating an environment of “anything is possible” for self and others.
Our mission is to deliver this innovative, community based, El-Sistema inspired programme for our young people, beginning in early childhood, such that their experience as they are growing up is one of a ‘sense of place’ and a passion for life and music.
In order for this inspiring, transformational work to continue, we need to raise funds to repair our existing instruments as well as purchase new instruments.
Our aim is to impact the lives of under-served children in our community through orchestral music training.
funds will be used to repair our musical instruments, purchase new instruments and pay for the services of an experienced luthier to repair and train our volunteers to repair our much used stringed instruments.
