On January 7th 2020, an electrical fault caused the attic at InterFood Cafe & Grocer to catch fire. After nearly two years of renovations and only three months of operation it was devastating to watch the shop go up in flames. Hope is not lost, however, and we will be rebuilding.

The unfortunate reality of only having contents insurance means that the rebuild of the ceiling and roof are up to us. We hope that with the support of our outstanding community we will be able to reopen sooner than if we were to do it alone
