Mr. Zennen Ampong Jr, who is a teacher in profession in the Philippines needs financial support for his medical treatment.
Auckland
Sir Ampong as he popularly known among his students is diagnosed to have Acute Lacunar Left Hemipons; Chronic Kidney Disease secondary to Hypertensive Nephrochlerosis; status post old stroke, status post hemodialysis, hypertensive cardiovascular disease. Basically, it all started when he had a stroke April 1995 at the age of 35 but he recovered well after the attack. Unfortunately, he was diagnosed 3 years ago of Diabetes which make him at major risk of having stroke again and in addition affected his kidney functions. In saying this, he needs to undergo dialysis lifetime. His 3 siblings died of kidney problems and it is his greatest fear that if he would not present himself to dialysis, the worst thing will happen to him leaving his beautiful wife and 16 year old daughter.
Currently, Sir Ampong has to stop working due to his condition. He has to undergo dialysis 2x a week, which cost them Php 2,000 (NZ$60) per session. On top of that, he has to religiously take his maintenance medications to further improve his health which is an added cost to the family. The latest hospital bill they have is Php 187,000 (NZ$ 5,400).
His wife, Ma'am Rose Ampong, is left with a more responsibilities as she needs to provide for all the financial needs of Sir Ampong's treatment (lifetime dialysis and medicine expenses) plus the needs of their 16 year old daughter.
Please a little help for Sir Ampong and his family by donating what you can is much appreciated. Any funds would be used to pay Sir Ampong's hospital bills, dialysis treatment which has to be upfront and buy his regular medications.
I was a former student of Mr. Zennen Ampong Jr. at Mt. Matutum Christian School in the Philippines during my elementary days. His wife, Mrs. Rose Ampong was the principal then, until now. This awesome and lovely couple moulded me to become who I am today and to show my gratitude to them I decided to set up this page to help the family with the medical finances as they are struggling to make the ends meet.
