Our little girl Ivy was born with a congenital heart defect like her mum.after some tests it has been revealed that she has mild supravalvar stenosis, right pulmonary artery stenosis, severe left pulmonary stenosis and hyperplasia and pulmonary branch stenosis.we are being sent to starship in Auckland next week where Ivy is being admitted for a cardio CT scan and a holter test and other tests as well to see just how severe it is,and then we will go from there.Ivy was born 31/08/2016 via emergency c-section for fetal distress before labour began.Ivy's mum was put to sleep and didn't meet her for two hours afterwards.it was very scary for us all .The Drs or midwife didnt even pick up her heart problem (which would have happened within the 1st 8 weeks of pregnancy) and assured us it was fine.her mum was the one who noticed her heart sounded like her own!this is and has been a very stressful time for us all including Ivy's 3 big brothers who are also struggling with the thought of their little sister having these issues and having to spend so much time away from us as we have been travelling back and fourth to appointments and will likely be doing alot more in the coming weeks/months.Ivy's Mum feels pressured to start back to work but she would love to be able to just focus on Ivy and the rest of the family at this time.we would be so grateful for any help the wonderful people from our beautiful country gives us :) thank you for taking the time to read our story 💞

So we still haven't made it to starship!we had to cancel our first appointment as we all came down with the nastiest flu!we got another appointment but that was cancelled as the hospital didn't have any spare beds so third time lucky we have an appointment on the 26th!we fly to Auckland on 24th and Ivy will be admitted on the 25th then her cardio CT under general anaesthetic on the 26th!now the nerves kick back in,but we are looking forward to finding out exactly what's going on.
Thanks again for all your help.we really can't thank you all enough :)
