This page will be used to help me raise money for my trip overseas to represent New Zealand as part of SGCNZ YSC 2019.

When I was 14, I tried to sneak into The Globe Theatre. Professing my love for Shakespeare to the lovely ladies contesting my attempt, I was met with (obviously unsolicited) denial, to then be sent on my merry way along the Thames, family in tow.
Whilst I was disappointed, I was undeterred. "Don't worry Mum," I said with The Globe at my heels, "next time I'm here, I'll be performing on that stage."
I never would have thought that 4 years from that moment, I would have the opportunity to uphold that promise.
Kia Ora! My name is Izzy Jack, I'm 18 years of age from the beautiful Queenstown, and a recently ex-student of Wakatipu High School. I am currently on a soul-searching gap year, with huge aspirations.
For as long as I can remember, acting has been my biggest passion. Ask anyone unfortunate enough to spend their primary school years with my unrefined, overly enthusiastic acting skills (or lack there of), performance has been an integral part of who I am.
And now the most wonderful opportunity has been presented to me - to represent my country, represent my home town, and represent my school as part of Shakespeare's Globe Center New Zealand's Young Shakespeare Company (SGCNZ YSC) 2019. In order to seize this opportunity, I need your support.
At present, I need $8750 of the $9,500 total required to get to London. I am hoping to raise $2000 to assist with my efforts in saving. With the addition of your donations, I will be able to make my dreams become a reality, and live up to that fateful promise I made four years ago.
Any amount of money donated is sincerely appreciated, and the skills I gain from this experience will be transferred back to my community so that other kids like me are able to live out their dreams.
Thank you for reading, donating, and supporting!

The money raised will be used to help pay the $8750 necessary to get me to London to perform on The Globe stage. Every little bit helps on the journey to achieve my dream. Any excess funds raised will be donated to the Kate Moetaua Endowment Fund.
