On thursday afternoon Jackson and his family were allowed to go home on a home visit for a couple of days to familiarize themselves back to every day life. All going well he will be discharged from the children's ward. Jackson has shown progress in his eating and talking and movement. How ever jackson still cannot walk and various limits of movement . He has a wee way to go and will need on going physio to help him build up strength in able to get back on his feet. This has been a horrible ordeal for jackson and his parents.but now is the next part of his journey to recovery. Tamara and dave have shown pure strength and resilience during this time and the time going forward. More updates with further progress. Thank you all for your love & support.

What a nightmare for you all. But I am very relieved that Jackson is starting to make some progress. I really hope that with a lot of help and support he will continue to improve.

Jackson is making small improvements each and every day. They have inserted a feeding tube into him used at night to get some nutrients into him. Today they have given him his first dose of steroids it's a 3 day course which perked him up whilst on it. He is slowley making some movement with his neck and one arm. His skin is starting to peel around his fingers. Thank you to everyone for their continuous support and kindness. Today is day 15 in the hospital

Jacksons Ultra sound and the eco on the heart all came back clear he has started trying to eat even more today .we seen an arthritis and inflamation doc as he can't bend his fingers or grip on to any thing no progress on walking his feet are still very swollen doctors not really to sure what's happening. just tests monitoring and then seeing where to go from there if he carries on not improving then they are needing to look at puting him on some strong steroids but it is a waiting game at this stage. He had an old I.v that wasn't getting used removed today he may possibly be on iv fluids again overnight for hydration. Will update again tommorow.

Jacksons Asperin had been cut to once a day as of yesterday over night his fever started creeping up again. Doctors are a little concerned because most cases they have treated the patient should have had big improvement by now. Today has been about repeating bloods, urine samples that will be sent to the lab for more deeper examination instead of using the dip stick test he also is scheduled for an ultra sound on his heart and neck tomorrow morning to check heart vessels haven't changed and to check that there is no abcesses on his neck and also to make sure they haven't missed anything or that nothing new has appeared . They do think it's still just a more serious case of Kawasaki but they are not entirely sure. On a positive note Jackson has had 35ml of yogurt and 40ml of formula through out the day. And was taken down to the play room to see some toys and get him out of his bed Which is awesome, go Jackson! His I.v lines are connected over night to rehydrate him . Hoping for more answers and positive progress tommorow! Thank you for everyone's kind donations. Tamara and Dave really appreciate the help & support.
