Saying goodbye to Jacob

20 years ago Neil & Fiona took on a 10 month old foster baby.

What came next was a hard, heartbreaking 20 year medical journey.

Just a few months before he turned 21 we were told that Jacob will soon lose his battle with life.

Jacob is currently at the Nelson Tasman Hospice.

This page is asking people to help lighten the financial burden of a funeral. This is for people who have witnessed Jacobs journey, been a part of the journey, or want to show appreciation to parents like Neil & Fiona.

The donations will be used to help Neil & Fiona with the costs of the funeral. To help bring Jacob’s brothers (along with their wives & children) home to Nelson from Perth for the funeral.

Neil & Fiona are incredibly special people who took on a foster child & loved him with everything they have in them and walked this journey with him. They are not losing a foster child, they are losing their son. We are losing our brother.

Jacob is a loved son, brother, grandson, cousin & uncle. Please help our family give him the final goodbye he deserves after a hard life of hospitals and illness.
