I am setting up this page to help me get funds so I can go race in Europe and other parts of the world against the worlds best.
Canterbury
My name is Jono Nelson and I was born with spina bifida. I have always had an interest in sport right from an early age. I started off with the CCS halberg sports program. At age 13 I joined up with Parafed Canterbury, where I competed at Australian Junior Nationals at wheelchair racing.
For the last 10 years i have been handcycling I have been to 1 world champs and 3 world cup races and numerous Nationals champs, this year in 2018 I won my first National title in the Road race.
My Main goal is to qualify for the 2020 Tokyo Paralympic Games.
Money will be spent on Travel cost and equipment so I can race to the best of my ability.
I have a new Goal! 24 August 2019
