Journey to new lungs and a new life. But if that isn’t possible, an opportunity to tick off my bucket list.
Wellington
Hi My husbands name is David and he is 34 years old, He has battled with Cystic Fibrosis all his life. This disease affects his lungs and other organs, which causes him to struggle with breathing. Lately He’s been finding it really hard to breathe and to do everyday activities like get dressed. He has been a stay at home dad with our little girl for 4 years now and it’s been his greatest achievement. In October We find out if He will get on the active list to get new lungs. This will be life changing for not only him but everyone around him. especially our daughter, her daddy can finally run around with her.
I’m making this page as it would be amazing to get some financial help through out this journey. If David gets these lungs he will have to stay in Auckland for months needing around the clock help meaning a lot of his family need to take time off work to help through this journey.
We also may get the call that David can’t get new lungs. What this means is that over time he will slowly deteriorate so if This is the case we would love to have the opportunity to tick some more things off his bucket list while he is still able to.
Thank you all so much for taking the time to read this.
Financial assistance getting his family to and from Auckland throughout the process.
Bucket list of he doesn’t get the transplant.

It has nearly been 9 months now and life has changed for the better. Nearly back to being able to do everything without pain or chest cracking. Thank you to everyone that has supported not only me but Tessa and Mya. Also the biggest thank you to my donor and their family, without you I wouldn't be doing what I can today so thank you so so much.
