Raising funds for groundbreaking spinal cord injury research, to help bring movement back to those with a spinal cord injury.
International
The Movement Collaborative is a foundation set up by former professional wakeboarder Brad Smeele who suffered a career ending SCI in a training accident in July 2014. The foundation (still in the process of gaining charitable status) is dedicated to driving collaboration within the SCI research community, while raising funds for groundbreaking research, with the goal of making SCI curable.
Funds will be put toward funding spinal cord injury research and helping researchers to collaborate, with the mission of speeding up the search for an effective SCI treatment.
Setting up the foundation 26 March 2019
We at The Movement Collab really appreciate all of the donations thus far. We are still in the process of getting everything set up within the foundation, to then start driving fundraising campaigns and helping researchers to collaborate.
We appreciate your patience and continued support. More updates coming soon.
