Providing women with a moment to themselves, so they can continue to be Super Mums with renewed patience, empathy and compassion.
Northland
In the Kaipara, we are privileged to have so much beautiful farmland, forest, and space to ourselves. However, this space is also our achilles heel in that resources and support are not always outside our doorstep.
They say it takes a village to raise a child and after having my first, I now understand. After feeding, soothing, entertaining, and putting children to sleep, time to have a shower, eat, even change out of pyjamas is a needle in a haystack.
I offer in home support for new mothers, allowing them a moment to themselves in which they can refuel and recharge. The hope is that these ladies can then continue to be Super Mums to their tamariki with renewed patience, compassion and empathy.
Self-care is so important for our mental health, and our ability to take care of others because we cannot give what we do not have.

Funds will primarily be used for transport. Any excess funds will be used to compensate additional volunteers, and provide activities and resources to entertain kiddies with while mums have their moment.
