Kidney Transplant Fund Raising

I am Vina Angellica Milay Labalan, 25 years old and currently residing in Bangkal, Makati City. I started to have kidney problem when I was 10 years old. I was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease and was prescribed to take antibiotics for 7 days. I lived a totally normal life after that incident in my early years. I graduated elementary and high school without any trace that once in my life I suffered from such disease until sometime in my college days, as I remembered it was September 5, 2012, I was diagnosed of dengue and my blood was infected by virus that comes along with the disease, but luckily I recovered from that illness with just antibiotics. Again, I was back to my normal life. And lived life as best as i could.

But the again, it was August 7. 2014 when I woke up with difficulties in breathing an d was rushed to the hospital in the middle of the night. Several lab test were done such as CBC, BLOOD CHEM, URINALYSIS, ECG, ULTRA SOUND AND 2'D ECHO. With the results, my doctor found out that my creatinine was elevated to the normal count. Mine is way higher that's why emergency dialysis was performed because by that time my kidney isnt functioning correctly. I was referred to a Nephrologist and was diagnosed to have End Stage Renal Disease

I have no idea what was going on, in my opinion I thought it was just the other hospitalization that I had before, that when I will be discharged everything will go back to normal. But this time, it wasn't what i expected. My nephro advised me to have a kidney transplant while my family still don't have enough money to cover all the expenses, i still need to undergo dialysis 3 times a week. From then on I go back and forth to the hospital for my dialysis session for almost 4 years now. Everything changed, it was so hard for me to process my mind that i am sick. Everyday for me is a battle of sick days. I even questiones God, Why? Why do i have to suffer from this, but later on i realize that God will not give you problems that you can't handle. I know this is God's way for me to fight my battle. And now, my family is planning for a transplant hopefully this year with the help of those people who have the heart to help those in need
