KidsLink "Help for Kids" programme - linking needs with opportunities

$190 donated
Given by 4 generous donors in one year

We believe that collectively everyone is responsible for helping our kids and teenagers succeed. We see value in making a real difference!

Nationwide

We know there is a real need for children, teenagers and their families/whānau to receive support in New Zealand... support for their learning, behaviour, physical and emotional development and well-being.

As passionate educators ourselves, we know it takes a village to raise a child.

Only a small percentage of students can receive funding support for their educational, behavioural and development needs through government channels and we want every child in New Zealand to have the opportunity to thrive.

Our "Help for kids" programme is already providing schools with an extra funding stream to support their learners and now we need your help!

On our own, we have helped over 220 students access services worth over $75,000 and we want this to grow.

Through your support, children, teens and their families/whānau can access:

. educational assessments

. counselling

. speech and language therapy

. tuition

. camps and outdoor pursuits

. extra-curricular activities

. parent mentoring

. dyslexia interventions

. hearing assessments and teaching aids

www.KidsLink.co.nz connects schools and families/whānau with a range of trusted service providers that specifically work with children and teenagers educational, physical and emotional needs. We are solving the problem for schools and families/whānau of who is out there, what they do and how they help.

Our service providers are experts and are available to help children, teens and their families straight away... no need for them to wait in the queue!

KidsLink Ltd's involvement (page creator)

As an organisation, we know that not all children can access the help they need for their educational, physical and emotional needs. We are the link between schools, families and service providers working with children, teenagers and their families.

Use of funds

Schools apply on behalf of students who need services that they otherwise could not afford. Schools need to provide details about why these students need help and what the specific benefits will be. Money is paid directly to the service provider.
