To support the King Whānau whilst Kimberley undergoes treatment for Anorectal Adenocarcinoma T3N1.
International
Kimberley has recently been diagnosed with Anorectal Adenocarcinoma T3N1, this has had a huge impact on their family life. Her and Casey (her husband) have 5 children ranging in ages from 4 to 15. Kimberley is unable to work due to the pain she is in and she is also starting chemo and radiation on Monday 23 April. Kimberley has gone from leading an active life to now not being able to take part in physical activity due to pain and discomfort.
Kimberley and her family also live in Australia, away from all whānau in NZ. This means an added pressure of limited support.
As with most families, they have financial obligations that they are trying to meet. Insurance is going to cover most of these, but not all.
Any funds raised will be put towards existing obligations.
Kimberley King is my sister, she has been diagnosed with Colorectal Cancer (Anorectal Adenocarcinoma T3N1) and has five children. I am wanting to help with their finances while my sister cannot work as my brother in law will be working and also supporting their whānau.
The money will go on existing financial obligations and running of the King Family household. Should there be any surplus, this will be donated to the Cancer Foundation.
