Kirill Koninin was a young man full of energy who died at the age of 17.
He sustained a head injury while riding his BMX at a skatepark in Albany on 23 December 2020; the same day, he underwent a brain operation hoping that his brain would recover. After about a day of being on life support, Kirill's brain didn't show any signs of responding, and the life support was disconnected. Kirill was officially declared dead on 24 December 2020 at 1:30pm.
