Nourishing the minds, body and souls of children around the villages of Cambodian War Remnant Museum in Siem Reap. Helping Khmer help Khmer.
International
The Kitchen of Hope was set up because I saw the poverty of the villages surrounding the Cambodian War Remnant Museum. Building a kitchen was a heart moment, something that just felt right, serving a nourishing lunch twice a week which is all that I can afford at the moment. These kids deserve more than that and with your help I would like to be able to provide at least one meal per day for them. Cooking 100 meals a day at less than a $1 a meal is all it takes to improve these villagers health.
The Kitchen also has community projects on the go and this months project is helping an 84 year old woman who looks after her 4 year old grandson as his parents abuse him. She lives in a tin shed, her lean-to kitchen is unstable, her water pump is broken, her floor is rotten. With your help we can refurbish her living conditions and make her life just a little bit more bearable.
To continue this vital work the Kitchen of Hope would love your support with a donation, any donation will be gratefully recieved. Thank you in advance for your support.
I set up the Kitchen of Hope and I am dedicated to helping Khmer people help Khmer people succeed in life.
The Kitchen of Hope does not take volunteers, as volunteers take the job away from a village person who needs food, income and experience.
Funds raised will be used for purchasing food, educational supplies, medical costs.
Thank you so much for your donation. This goes such a long way in making a huge difference in the lives of the villages.
