An album has been a dream just a little too far out of my reach based on self-confidence, opportunity, time, and money restrictions.

Hi guys!

Anyone that knows me even a little will know that music is the absolute love of my life on earth and I've been working exceptionally hard to improve on it, finally coming to the decision to pursue it as my career. There have been many long, sleepless nights of tossing and turning ideas around about how I can finally start putting out music without restraint and sharing my voice (and sometimes others) with the people I care about and others who need to know they're also cared about! I write songs about real experiences and hurts which naturally express my wonder at the world and about God and where we all fit into that.

Well, it happened. I got talent-scouted by a producer over in Nashville, and before you get nervous, I was just as suspicious as you and made sure he was legit before we had our first call! We're doing an album together, which fills me both with immense panic and yet overwhelming gratitude, excitement, and tears that what I've been sleepless over for so long is finally happening just like that.

However, the catch is that while I have been working hard to gather the funds for it, I still don't have enough to start. That's where you come in! As generous or as casual as you like, I will be beyond grateful for anything you decide you want to contribute towards my dream because you are literally enabling my dreams to come true one step closer. And as a short disclaimer, I 100% don't expect the full funds to come from you - in fact I was very reluctant to say anything at all - but realised it was silly to allow my pride to step in the way of people who might genuinely wish to support me! So here you are - if you want to back me in this next step of propelling my career, you will probably also be contributing to the tears hehe!

Use of funds

Every cent will go towards the album and added into the money I myself am currently making towards it. Basically whatever is lacking on both sides will be made up by the other!

In the Homestretch! 4 January 2022

Thank you so, so, so much to all of you for every little (or big) bit that you've added! You have no idea what a blessing and relief that has been. Seriously, you have no idea... Due to health complications, I've had the last 2 and a half weeks off on forced rest so lost well over a grand that would've gone towards it - not stressful at all! But because of your generosity I should still reach the goal on time as long as I can work full time again as of next week. THANK YOU!

We're really in the homestretch now, fam! I submitted the 1st half last month out of all my savings, and so now we're over halfway. There's approximately $2025 left to hit the mark for the seven songs, and 4 weeks to go!!! I've also mentioned to him that my ultimate goal is to do 8 songs, but that extra song is slightly less important to pay off in this timeframe as it can be added later. I totally don't make things harder for myself hehe 😇

Just really can't thank you enough. It went from seeming impossible for me to earn enough for even 5 songs to suddenly not only having 7 locked in but a potential 8th... All of your contributions not only were a relief but an inspiration for me to work even harder to make the album as good as I possibly can with as many songs as possible. Let's see what the final weeks bring!
