Forget X Factor auditions, real musicianship is about hard work, dedication and talent. This amazing New Plymouth based 16 year old has all these in excess. Laura has won herself a place at a 10 day A Cappella Academy in Los Angeles in July 2017. A Cappella is a musical style of vocal performance made popular by movies such as 'Pitch Perfect'. A Cappella Academy provides motivated, talented young artists with a unique creative environment where they can develop their skills as vocalists, beatboxers, arrangers, music directors, songwriters, and producers. It brings together some of the most forward-thinking minds in the field of a cappella to help Laura discover new skills, and to hone the skills she has already.
