We aim to fill this space with stunning story boards, display cabinets and artefacts.
Thames Museum Te Whare Taonga o te Kauaeranga's refreshed foyer will soon be a welcoming timeline, showcasing the evolution of our area - its geology, social history and heritage - in a nutshell.
Thames Museum Te Whare Taonga o te Kauaeranga collects, conserves and displays the social history and heritage of Thames and its surroundings from earliest times through the opening of the goldfields and on into the mid-1900s.
We need a boost to our funds to purchase new slim-line display cabinets.
A third of the way there! 12 October 2021
Thanks to your generosity we can now purchase one of the cabinets that we need for this lovely space. In preparation, we have revamped the floors, freshly painted the walls and replaced the tired old curtains with sleek roller blinds. We're thrilled to have reached 33.3% of our goal for new display cabinets... And we still have 48 days left to make it to 100%. Let's make it happen!
Thank you so much, All Garden Works, for your generosity, taking us a big leap forward towards our goal.
Many, many thanks, Aeroview Garden Centre. Your generosity in helping us reach our goal is very much appreciated by all of us at Thames Museum te Whare Taonga o te Kauaeranga.

Thank you for your generosity, Gwendolynne - a lovely way to honour your ancestor.
