Help for Greg and Valley D’Vine
Eskdale, Hawke's Bay
It’s time to give back to someone who has given so much to those in their times of need.
Greg, the owner of Valley D’Vine Restaurant is a well known local out here in Eskdale and was directly impacted by the devastating cyclone that hit the Eskdale area. Greg is always one to help those in need and goes above and beyond to make sure his efforts are never wasted. He has fundraised and dedicated so much of his time to help others in any way he can (most of you would be aware of the very successful fundraiser Greg ran for I Am Hope) none of that would have been possible if it wasn’t for his drive to help others in their time of need.
While coming to terms with what had unfolded in the dark of the night, Greg was again trying to help those in need by taking them in, giving them somewhere safe & doing all he possibly could in these horrendous circumstances.
The restaurant is unable to open at this time for trade because of the extent of the damage caused by cyclone Gabrielle. Despite the situation, Greg has opened his restaurant and allowed it to be turned into a community hub to help our locals have somewhere to access help.
On top of what has already been a rough few years in business with covid, this is another blow for his business he has worked so hard for.
Let’s show Greg we can help him in his time of need!
Greg is insured, but at this point in time he has no clue as to what the outcome will be, despite this he is still paying his staff while they are closed indefinitely.
Greg is a personal friend of ours and we want to help him so he can keep helping others
This will help Greg and Valley D’Vine with damages caused and for loss of income
