Lets help Roberta create some beautiful memories with her Whānau

Cousin Roberta has always been committed to her community. A past committee member of Waimarino Cossie Club & Raetihi Primary School Board, current trustee of Ruapehu College Board of Trustees, committed trustee of her family Trust. Today she is still a Marae Trustee and on the Waimarino Shearing Committee.

Roberta is strong in her Morehu faith and her Dad, Uncle Robert Williams is the Apotoro for our Raetihi/Waimarino community. Roberta is always there right beside him leading our waiata doing the work of the faithful angels.

For the last four years Roberta has been working with whānau helping them set and achieve their life goals. Late last year she became a Whānau Ora kaimahi for one of our iwi Ngāti Rangi, on the 28th of October 2017 she had been to the doctor supporting someone. All of a sudden she passed out herself.

The Doctor sent her straight to hospital the next day she underwent surgery to remove a huge cancerous tumour. Roberta had been living with undetected bowel Cancer.

Since xmas Roberta has been going through intense treatment trying to kill other growths detected after surgery. Unfortunately this has not been successful and there are no more medical interventions available. Now Roberta is looking after herself the best she can spending time with whānau and enjoying her new moko born two weeks ago

When she first got diagnosed she said to those of us that when she beats this we're going on holiday on a beach in the South Pacific... So please help us send her on her way.
