Silvie lost all of her belongings in a devastating house fire and we are rallying around her to get her back on her feet.
Wellington
On Friday 12th October, there was a devastating fire that ripped through the house Silvie was living in. She was in the house at the time and thankfully managed to escape with nothing other than the clothes on her back and her laptop. That is it. Everything in the house is gone.
Silvie planned to spend one year in New Zealand and had travel insurance for this period. Recently she secured a one year teaching contract at a local Wellington school and was in the process of securing a new policy when disaster struck. As a result she cannot claim for any of her lost possessions.
We are rallying around our friend to help get her back on her feet, and show her how much love and support she has. Any contributions will be gratefully received and will go directly to helping Silvie replace her lost belongings and finding somewhere new to live.

I am a friend of Silvie, wanting to raise money because her house burnt down and she has nothing
The funds will be used to rebuild Silvie's life here in Wellington, from replacing the basic items like clothing and personal items, to bedding, furniture and finding a new home to live in.
