Stretch is one of the kindest, humblest, friendliest, most animal loving people I know. Our turn to help him in his time of need!

Last night there was a fire that gutted Lances “Stretch” house bus. It claimed everything he owns including much loved personal items and two of his beloved animals. Stretch is such a kind and generous person and for this to happen to him is so heart breaking. Stretch is known by many in our small community of Waihi. He is often seen riding around town on his retro push bike, wearing his tin helmet and often carrying stray animals home in the front of his jacket. He gives all he can to anyone and everyone he knows. Now it’s our turn to give all we can to him to show the love and kindness he deserves.

Have known Stretch since I was a kid, he has become a great friend and is part of the furniture at The Comm

Funds will be given to Stretch to help him with repairs or replacement of bus and anything else he may need.
