Alan, has been struck by an early onset dementia: a cruel and irreversible condition. Let us all help!
Otago
Al, a brilliant physio and a founder of the Queenstown Physiotherapy, has been struck by an early onset dementia. He has had to give up work he loved: he was a great practitioner, so often selfless and the number of patients he treated free of charge simply because they had no means to pay, was astounding. He needs our help now so let's do it - even the tiniest bit adds up and help!
All donations will go towards General living costs. Mandi, his wife cannot work as he needs constant care at home. They do not qualify for any government help as he is not 65.
Alan was not only a professional colleague but a close personal friend too, we share many fond memories.... We worked together for years, referring to one another with very good results. Al was a charismatic individual and one of the best physios I have had a chance to meet, he loved his work, was devoted to it and misses it to this day...and we all miss him at work
