Funds needed to build a library at Williams Bay School on Erromango in Vanuatu
Auckland
Williams Bay School consists of a kindergarten, primary school and a high school. There are approximately 180 children who attend this school from Ipota and the villages surrounding Williams Bay (formerly known as Dillions Bay).
A team consisting of William Jones, John McWilliams and Tania Georgeson will be travelling with me to Erromango in July 2019 to assist with building the library at Williams Bay School. They have a 10 year plan to build a library, computer lab, boys dormitory and a further 4 classrooms. The girls dormitory has been completed earlier this year, so good progress has started with their building plans.
The library is an integral part of the school which will help the children in their daily learning, as well as, a community literacy project that will be launched once the build is completed.
I will be raising funds in NZ for Williams Bay School to help them purchase resources for their library and assist with the building materials for the library
Funds will be used to purchase building materials and library resources
