Life B4 Suicide

Hi my name is Scott Harvey (Scotty).

I have started this page to raise awareness of suicide and help prevent it.

My goal is to start a mobile awareness/prevention/ education vehicle to be able to travel around New Zealand.

My aim is to help anybody with suicidal ideations and mental health issues. I would like to help anybody in any area of New Zealand.

So the givealittle page is to raise money to set this up.

I will use the funds to kit out a trailer that has been donated to me to hold the tools I use to help people plus advertising on the car an trailer what I do. Also ongoing pamphlets & brochures and further prevention utilities to give out.

No donation is to big or small. Once I have this up and running my vision is to expand.

I am dedicated to this mission and will not stop until I succeed.

My background:

I'm a qualified social worker of 8 years.

I previously worked for 12 years prior helping people with disabilities get jobs.

I have worked with people with disabilities, mental health and youth between 17 & 24 years old helping change their lives and cognitive awareness i.e. believing in themselves for a brighter future.

I have worked with people of all cultures, and have recently returned from Perth WA where I helped people Aboriginal mob ,Sudanese, Eastern European, Maori

and Pakeha.
