Lilah, Light of Our Lives, and her family need our support to help them adjust to this huge curveball life has thrown them.
Bay of Plenty
Lilah is a 5 year old, who had just started school, loves Barbies, anything sparkly and can ride a two-wheeler bike. She is funny, chatty, cheeky and can always make a room laugh. Now, Lilah and her family need our help. On the 1st of June 2021, the Light of Our Lives was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia.
Lilah had been a little unwell but Drewe knew something was not right and raced her to the doctor. She was then sent to the hospital and in a blink of eye, she was being helicoptered to Starship Hospital, leaving behind Dad and her two brothers. The diagnosis came as heartbreaking shock to everyone and treatment started immediately.
She is undergoing Chemotherapy in Starship Hospital in Auckland, and has already been through several procedures. We are all in for a long ride. Mum (Drewe) will be continuously with Lilah and Dad will travel between home, work and hospital while caring for Lilah's younger and older brother.
The emotional, mental and financial pressure on the Fell family is huge.
We would be grateful for any donations you are able to give to help this very special little girl and her family.
I am Aunty Trudy to Lilah, and big sister to mum, Drewe. And on behalf of all of Lilah's cheerleaders.
Funds will be used for travel, payment of family bills and to help in anyway that alleviates the Fell family's stress.
