Young Oliver passed away at just 5 weeks old. Please help his grieving family.

Oliver Joel Ronald Reid.

A life taken suddenly and unexpectedly at just over five weeks old.

Oliver's epic journey begun while mum Lara was in the early stages of her pregnancy.

Having to regularly travel from New Plymouth to Auckland for blood transfusions while in utero became a regular routine for Lara and Cam. Cam even had to leave his job he had because of the amount of time off he was having to support and look after his young family.

A routine checkup at Taranaki Base Hospital the family was told that Oliver would be born via emergency caesarean and they had an hour to prepare.

Born prematurely Oliver was a fighter. Going from strength to strength this little man was surpassing all odds.

Able to go home weeks before the Drs had predicted.

Oliver was a beautiful healthy baby.

Until the unthinkable happened.

Little Oliver passed away unexpectedly leaving his loving parents Lara and Cam completely devastated. Oliver also had three older siblings, two sisters and an older brother. Born to such an amazing family Oliver touched so many hearts in his short life.

We can't even imagine what they are going through and still this family stands strong.

The financial side of things are probably the last thing they are wanting to think about, so We are setting up this page in hope people will donate and help with the necessary costs that have struck this family, nothing can prepare a parent for the loss of a child and no parent should have to feel the pain. Please help this amazing family they truly are deserving.
