Help support Lucas and his family as he undergoes treatment for Leukemia.

Timaru, Canterbury

Tests have confirmed Lucas's Leukemia (T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic)has relapsed.

Melanie, Sean and Ruby have cherished the 2yrs post treatment, snippet of "normal life" with their dear wee man. But his cancer has come back with a vengeance.

Lucas is a keen wee farmer and his favorite thing to do is to help his Grandad on the farm.

He absolutely loves farm life and wants to be a farmer when he grows up.

They are staying strong and holding onto that glimmer of hope that his treatment will be effective.

Currently Lucas is in Christchurch Hospital in choc ward ( Child Haematology Oncology Center ). This is the best place for Lucas.

The most important thing right now is to keep their family together for Lucas.

This means Sean (Lucas's dad) will be travelling back and forth between their hometown of Timaru to Christchurch regularly. As life still goes on with bills, mortgage and work etc. The time with Lucas is about making magic moments with him, memorable experiences and keeping their beautiful family together

- Thank you everyone for showing your love and support .
