Kat is going through an extremely difficult time with recent diagnosis of advanced metastatic breast cancer while 5 months pregnant with her second child. Kat and her partner, Jean Marc, are devastated. They need all the love, help and support we can give them.

This page is to help support her and her family with day to day expenses (childcare,groceries,rent,travel) while she is having intensive chemotherapy, major surgery and having their baby.

There will be lots of ongoing expenses and Kat will not be able to work. We imagine that it will be near impossible for Jean Marc to work also. We would like to minimise the financial stress as much as possible so she can focus on her treatment and family. Money should be the last thing they need to worry about during this awful time.

I am involved on behalf of a group of friends who love Kat and her family. She has been a generous, supportive,thoughtful,kind and caring friend to all of us and we would like to try to show her some love back. Kat would help anyone who needed it in a heartbeat.

Use of funds

This money will go directly to Kats bank account to pay for childcare, groceries, rent, a cleaner, transport and essentials. We would hope that there will be enough money that Kat, Jean Marc and Eoin could do something special together. There will be ongoing costs throughout Kats treatment and in preparing for baby. The financial burden will be completely overwhelming without people helping out.
