Lucy received a cochlear implant a couple of years ago but sadly that implant has failed and she will shortly undergo surgery to have it replaced. She has also experienced a few periods of complete hearing loss in her non-implanted ear. We are trying to raise funds for a second implant to give Lucy the best hearing she can get.

Thanks everyone for the support you've shown to Lucy - she has been able to raise enough money to pay for her second ear and is now happily using it day to day. We will close up her Give A Little page now, as she has reached her goal. Please continue to support 'little battlers' like Lucy - fund-raising is a burden on families and takes energy which would be better spent supporting their children who have enough struggles as it is.
