Dark Horse Documentary - Tuesday 7th October 2014 - 7pm - Academy Cinemas
Nationwide
Dark Horse tells the story of Genesis Potini, a man who dealt with difficult mental illness, a family with gang affiliations, poverty, and a lack of resources in his small community. The documentary follows Genesis' life as he searches for the courage to lead, despite his own adversities - finding purpose and hope in passing on his gift to the children in his community.
This is an award winning documentary, which inspired the current feature film of the same name.
The screening will be followed with a Q&A session with Jim Marbrook, director of the documentary and Co-Producer of the feature film.
