Junior Marathon Worlds and Olympic Hope Event 2016

I am a 16 year old kayak and surf ski paddler from Auckland, New Zealand. Earlier this year I was selected to compete under the silver fern, at the U18 Kayak Marathon World Champs, to be held in Germany , in September. As I am only 16 this is a big event for me, and will hopefully lead onto more travelling and racing in the future. Racing at the marathon worlds will be an invaluable learning experience, and will help me towards my future goals in the sport. I will also be competing at the Olympic Hopes Regatta in Hungary, but my main focus will be the Marathon race.
