Support Martin Suttie's family
Otago
Martin Suttie tragically died whilst fishing at Glenorchy on Sunday 12 July 2020, and is survived by his long time partner, Vicki, and their two children, Ethan (12) and Kayla (7).
This event has hit many of Martin's friends and family hard.
The world has lost a true gentleman, and even more sadly, two children have lost their father, and their mother has lost her life partner.
This page is intended to facilitate donations to support Vicki to give Ethan and Kayla the future that Martin would have wanted for them.
When I heard this tragic news, even from afar, I wanted to do something to support my great mate's family.
Hopefully in some small way this can assist them to carry on Martin's legacy.
Massive love to the extended whānau impacted by this. Kia kaha.
The funds raised are intended to be used by Vicki to support Ethan and Kayla.
Thank you 💙 12 August 2020
There are so many of you and I have no idea where to even begin - I am totally blown away by the love shown to us by all of you x
Through this last month, one of the biggest things I have had to learn to do is accept help when it’s offered, you become so independent as a team of two when you have a family, because you always have your person there to help and provide support to you.
Thank you to all of you for quietly and kindly offered this support to Ethan, Kayla and I. I’ve also learned about the true meaning of being thankful and saying thank you....you can say a flippant thanks for passing me the fork, opening the door......but the kind of thank you I’m saying to all of you is filled with love & gratitude xx
Today is the 12th of August, one month since Martin kissed us good bye and left a massive hole in our lives. We miss him terribly everyday, but we hold on the comfort and love brought to us by his friends and family and were wrapping ourselves up in it xXx
Thank you all again. You’re all absolutely incredible human beings xxx
