We are super excited to be setting up in Newtown and are looking forward to being operational and getting to know our community and meeting all of you (and your bikes!)
We will be moving into the unoccupied petrol station on Riddiford st which was completely gutted when it was vacated. As part of this the electricity supply was completely severed so we are looking at significant costs to reconnect and supply the site with power.
We are also looking at a full workshop fit out, construction of internal walls, workbenches, storage spaces. Obviously we will do this in a beautifully DIY manner but we are still expecting to some initial setup costs that we would love assistance with.
Use of funds
The funds raised will be used to cover our initial setup costs, the majority of this being the connection of electricity to the site. Any extra raised will be used to improve our service through purchasing tools, small parts, greases, cleaners etc
