Medical Bills

I'm Courtney my husband is Ruel, We have 3 kids Phoenix 8, Briella 3, Dolce 9 months all born in October, I am suffering from multiple melanoma I have to have constant surgery. I have been having surgery every 3 months or so for the past 2 and a half years and will do this for the rest of my life. So far I have had 9 melanoma removed and will be on going.

I got married and 3 months later I was diagnosed with Multiple Invasive Melanoma I decided I wasn't going to give up,so I studied Beauty Therapy at the International College of Camille, I got "Top Beautician" "Team Leader" and pasted my ITEC with "MERIT"!! I was having surgery while studying and got pregnant half way thru, we thought we might not be able to keep the baby but as gods plan we were able to welcome our blessing Dolce into the world. Things are hard we live on one income and no other assistant I cant get a job now but I try by setting up my own salon at home to try bring in extras to help pay medical bills.

I have to be on waiting lists all the time, and the waiting is the most difficult time as waiting for results and surgery is scary. I have regular checks so I can keep catching the melanomas I have those checks 4 times a year and outpatients appointments at hospital but we keep pushing on to help provide for our kids and keep me alive.

Me and my husband struggle to pay bills as my health is so important that it comes first and others come after and that makes more stress and we are already going through so much that the added pressure takes its toll on us, mostly my husband as he is the only one bringing in the income that we are worried we will not have enough to get my proper health checks that are much needed to keep me alive, to see my kids grow up and the very real fear I might not make it adds more stress on husband and myself.

It is a emotional roller coaster but we try to stay as grounded as we can, but when fearing for your life when you have kids to bring up and provide for, you worry about them as well as my own mortality and the very real fear I might not be there for their important stages in life.

My 3 Beautiful kids is who I fight this battle for so I can be along by their side for as long as can and I am so grateful to still be here and still fighting and I wont stop fighting as my kids mean the world to me and they need me to help guide them on their journey.
