Medical financial aid for a special little kitty and his autistic mum
Northland
Elfman is a beautiful 5 year old boy who is the best friend to an autistic woman who has recently hit hard times due to unforseen circumstances.
20/11/19 Elfman was rushed to the vets at 11.55pm as he had suddenly taken a turn and started to scream in agony when urinating. The vet diagnosed him with severe bladder crystals that would need attention as soon as possible. The vet has also recommended a complete diet overhaul into a special diet preventing such crystals from forming to try prevent this happening a second (or more) time.
Due to unfortunate circumstances, Elfman's mum has fallen on hard times recently and this has happened at the worst time, however, his mum wont give up. Elfman has been a great help to Alys since she got him at 9 weeks old, along with his sister from the same litter. Sadly, his sister dissapeared around this time last year and his mum was devastated. Elfman helped her through this and has been (for lack of a better word) her support, her rock and her world through his life. His mum has a few disabilities (inc. autism, depression and physical ailments) which have made it a bit harder to get back on her feet but she is trying her hardest despite this. We are hoping that we can put some money together to aid in the vet bills and diet overhaul so that it will be a little easier on his mum while she is going through a tough time and until she can get back on her feet.
Alys has had ideas for excess funds from possibly getting some pet insurance to help in times like this to donating the excess to an animal charity.
Vet bills and treatment costs, will also be used to set up a diet overhaul. Any excess funds may be used for continued treatment of Elfman or donated to an animal charity if not needed.
Possibly to get pet insurance for if this event happens again.
