Volunteering with Mercy Ships

I have the opportunity to volunteer for 3 months as a paediatric nurse on the mercy ships in Madagascar, Africa.

I have the incredible opportunity to return to Madagascar for another 3 months working with Mercy ships. My last experience was absolutely incredible, and really highlighted just how much need there is.

Mercy ships is an amazing organisation that offers free healthcare and surgeries to those in developing nations. It specialises in orthopaedic and maxillofacial surgeries, as well as dental and eye care. For many people who are treated on the mercy ships basic health care is not available, and the smallest thing such as a toothache can become life-threatening.

Mercy ships is completely voluntary and so any contribution would be so greatly appreciated. I am so passionate about this incredible opportunity to offer my practical skills, and love and compassion to the people of Madagascar.
